Being subjective and making you own decissions in daily life is a good thing. But also seeing the objectiveness in things.
Some things you are devoted to or sure of, putting out there and looking at them with a more critical view, not being afraid of critizing yourself.
Without prejedgments looking at your own opinion and being proud if you change or correct that.
Walking a mile in other man's shoes.
That's why this was inspired on a giraffe, because it seems to overlook everyting and see it in other perspectives.

Like rain the fire falls into the water. Cold and heat running past eachother, almost touching.
What if love between fire and water existed, what would that look like?
A forbidden love that breaks all the rules, only because nature doesn't allow it to happen.

Leaving a trail
100 cm x 100 cm

Like many people, artists, writers but olso mothers and father want to leave a trail, a legacy. Toughts you put on paper, on a canvas, on a typewriter or in sand. For you and others to see, read and feel.

A life line where for only you know where it comes from and where it is going.

I want to be remembered as a guy who tried his best and did his best.

The sun rises and sets, every day. You can't stop that from happening.

Wether you close your eyes or hide in the deepest basement, the sun will rise again.

Wether you found the love of your life or lost it, the sun will set.
When you fall down and get back up, when you fall in love or climb to it. When you go home or dicide to leave it, fall asleep or don't sleep at all. When you decide to read that book or take that picture of that event. When you think something is beautiful or really ugly.
When you're happy or sad.

The sun will rise , the sun will set.

The heart of a mouse beats around five hundered times a minute and its life (around a year), a billion times.
A human being its hearts frequency is seventy and it can live for around eighthy years...

#Letsmakeitpossible

Science at war, not with itself but with what science is fighting against. Diseases we can's figure out, such as cancer or HIV. The day science wins, let's hope that day arrives soon.

It's that hope that gives us courage. The body at war with itself in an almost impossible fight. I tried to visualize that fight, a person walking hand in hand with Science, facing the darkness ready for war.

Because of personal events I realized we should be grateful not all of us have to deal with that fight.
Be humble, be grateful. And don't forget to laugh, we never know what someone is dealing with, what fight they're involved in.

The word 'infinite' almost impossible for understand. For me it's emotionally such a powerful world if you put it with 'love'. As an artist, every time I start with something new, I'aim confronted with the word infinite.
The things I can do, the possibilities I have every time a new canvas stands in front of me, are infinite. That feeling is extremely statisfying but also immensly scary. I don't know when I will finish it, what the end result will be. A lots of colors and patterns are only in harmony when they are put on the painting.

Actually how I got to tis painting is because of a kaleidoscope. It's a multi-angled, mirrored tube that has all different colors on the end.
The other side of the tube is open so you can look inside of it with a reflection of light. Because of the mirrors, it becomes a symmetric mandela inside of it, whitch changes when you shake it.

Earth
80 cm x 80 cm

As we tend to forget that we're living on this amazing planet that feeds and nurtures us, I became more humble.
Humble because of the fact that we are a small speck on a larger speck in an incredibly huge universe beyond our knowledge.
If we could only see how small we were, maybe our world would look a bit more peaceful, more in harmony.
To realize that how large the evant are that occur on our own lives, how small they are and how small the influences are that they have on our planet.
That it only takes you a few generations (if you're lucky) for your name to be remembered and that's all.You come, you live, you meave and the world keeps spinning. It always feared me, to be forgotten. Fear to become life itself. To never be the reason that the world would stop spinning.

With this work I want to put the accent on how small and vulnerable our Earth is and how insignificant our daily events are sometimes.
